In his approach to capture an image, he utilizes traditional and non-traditional means of lighting and infuse it with an intuitive sensibility, which is then converged with emotional intelligence to create a simple net composition of shadows and light, of subject and background, of space and inter-space...all with the goal of stopping a moment of time that tells a story for the rest of time.
In his own words:
What makes the image complex is that sometimes the shadow is the light I seek, the background is the subject I see, and the nothingness of inter-space is what I leverage to inspire the desired tension that holds together the elasticity of visual perception. The relationship between a photographer and his image is a very fluid dynamic that constantly shifts and expands. It is within these moments of transition...the flux within and between creativity and creation, that I find my passion. What I seek is pure and simple . I only want to share my perspective on the beauty of people, life and things. You see, we all perceive them uniquely through our own personal prism and filter, and so I hope these images will impress you, if only for a moment to reflect...and embrace the flux.
