Delroi Whitaker is a Los Angeles born celebrity photographer whose work has documented the African American cultural influence in the Hollywood celebrity and music industry. Starting his career early in high school, Delroi found a passion capturing images in his hometown of Baldwin Hills, Los Angeles. Throughout his career he had unique access to celebrity figures and photographed the likes of Michael Jackson, Muhammad Ali, Aretha Franklin, The Temptations and more. His work captures over 50 years of celebrity images and are widely unreleased. His collections are rich in history and culture and are coveted by collectors and museums worldwide.
